Thanks for stopping by! Here is a little about myself, Ellis, aka L.S.B.

Growing up in Chicago I was exposed to a wide arrange of music and live performances. Whether it was jazz, rock, classical or EDM, the city provided nearly every type of musical genre and show you can ask for. From a young age I was always mesmerized about the power that the artists must feel on stage in front of thousands of people. I began to formulate that desire to obtain that same feeling I felt when I went to lollapalooza for the first time. The feeling of being on stage was intoxicating to me, driving me to dream of being on stage and performing.

 

After living in Chicago for 22 years, I moved out west to California in July 2017 to begin my AmeriCorps program and, ultimately, my career in outdoor recreation. It wasn't until I moved up to Humboldt County in 2019 that I began to invest my time in learning how to DJ and what it takes to be successful. During the start of the pandemic was when I bought my first Pioneer Deck. Learning from a close friend of mine I began to practice, learn and watch from fellow DJs on perfecting their technique. Since 2021, I have performing in bars, clubs, festivals and have been hired for weddings and fundraisers.

 

My goals are to travel the world DJing and to own or operate a record label. Creating my own music and mastering production are my goals going forward through 2024 and beyond. I look to become more and more successful in this passion project of becoming a DJ. My love for music and, in specific, house music will always fuel me to put my best effort out there when given the opportunity to DJ and mix for people!
